I can still remember
How Mav’s board used to be all bad.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could place a hypnotic trance

But Cydonia made me shiver

He deleted all our files,

Christy, like I said to Shawn, you guys aregiving way too much credit to Cy: He simply isn't that clued up on internet serverse and hacking! He's an INVESTMENT expert, remember? He's not a computer engineer. Do you REALLY thinnk that he's smart enough to nuke 9,000 boads all at once, including all the backups? I don't think so!
If you ask me, this looks like an inside job: The hacker had the passwords to the backup system, waltzed right on in, and blew it all away. He knew his way around. If I were EZBoard, I'd be looking at disgrutled ex-employees, ex-admins, ex-mods, etc. But CY? Of all people? I somehow doubt it!

Actually I studied sequel server and ... ....I became VERY familiar with TCP/IP as a pre-requisite for my MCSE course but no, I'm not familiar with hacking. Setting up security domains and firewalls ...knowing some back doors...maybe.
