| The reason why... I am sure many of us here (the non herd animals) have oft wondered why the general run of Americans today are the way they are- so ready and willing to kill others and send their own loved ones off to fight is some useless war somewhere for a "cause". The answer is very simple: lack of war on these shores. Americans haven't had a knock-down-drag-out REAL war on this continent since 1865. The bitterness and hatred from that conflict lingered all the way up into the period just before WW-2, when the last survivors of that era died off. Then came WW-2, ad nauseum when we we all doing our patriotic duty and it got ingrained into the masses that this (war) was an honorable thing. After all, nobody here ever had their house smashed to rubble, their families blown to bloody bits before their eyes or their women folk raped in front of them so America MUST be blessed and shielded from all that. 9/11 was nothing but a tease, it made America THINK they could be attacked on their own soil and then that energy was directed and used (for the exact wrong and evil purposes) by those who created the event to begin with (and is WASN'T Muslims folks). Now Americans are back asleep again. The people in Ukraine really do have the guts that Americans only imagine that they themselves possess

| Re: The reason why... I also believe the Muslims had nothing to do with 9-11. I believed that from day one. Right after the bombings I actually felt guilty in thinking this because no one else had those same thoughts and I was alone in my thinking. But I couldn't help think of all the inconsistencies and oddness to it all. Then as time passed, numerous oddities surfaced and others began speaking out. But feeding the war had already begun, and with a vengeance too. Bush saying he wanted Osama dead or alive, and adding to the fuel later with Saddam, saying we'll hunt him down and smoke him out.
One of the many reasons (a clue) that I knew this 9-11 fiasco was an elaborate hoax to preempt war, was because what I call the "Boogieman theory" Or the "Lone Ranger theory". As children our psyches are conditioned to accept the good guy and the bad guy, the cop and the robber, cowboys and Indians (Indians being the bad guy...go figure that sick mentality placed in our children's minds). Usually what would happen is everyone wanted to be the cop and only one kid would be deemed the robber that everyone would chase. In reality one man is not the bad guy. Whenever one man is the blame a red flag goes up in my head. According to Executive Order 12333 it is an Illegal Act for the President to go after an individual in war.
Other clues too, were the lightening fast development of Homeland Security which gave the Executive Branch the power to bypass Congress in the so called Declaration of War. The loophole being that war can be exercised on a ‘concept’ rather than an actual country. AND by calling it a War on Terror, it gave way to an open slate that could define “terror and terrorism” any way the Executive Branch saw fit. Someday you, you and you, may be deemed as a terrorist.

| Re: Re: The reason why... Perfectly said.
Most human beings are basically good (IF they would wake up!) and have to be manipulated by the priest-kings into fighting and killing each other.
During Christmas of 1914 (the first year of "the War to end all wars") the troops actually got out of the trenches and joined each other in "No Man's Land" exchanging little gifts of food and etc., singing carols and engaging in a soccer match (the Germans beat the British 3-2). This immediately led to a crackdown by the upper ranks and severe penalties were imposed for "fraternizing with the enemy" on both sides. It wasn't until nearly four years later that the bloody slaughter finally ended...

| Re: The reason why... One word of advice that I don't have to give to Al because he already knows what vultures those asswipes are over there...but I will say: Mav's board is for entertainment only and for times when you need to take your stress out on something. Entertainment and for stress-release only. Mav's board is NOT for truth. Mav's board is NOT for comradery. Mav's board is NOT fair and honest debate.

| Re: Re: The reason why... Thanks. Gar, I don't for the same reason I don't hit Seeker's board anymore: It's eaten up with rectal wipes like Jaybird R. and Cy-cotroll (who was somewhat entertaining at times on some of Christy's old boards), but I guess I am getting too old and tired to deal with their BLEEP now- just isn't worth it. Time I spend a 10 hour work day with an hour each way drive at the start and end of it, I am kinda pooped...
