| New Tower Here are those tower pictures I wanted to show everyone at the pier leading to our beach. Looks like it could have something to do with the weather. Just very odd and such an eyesore.
Here's looking up at it. Notice the chemtrail above.
There is a sign on it. Rohn, who the heck is that?

| Re: New Tower Well, I did a little seaching and found out what that tower is. COMPS, Coastal Ocean Monitoring and Prediction System using satellite GOES. I hope it's used just for the weather.

And apparently they have a station down town at the SpongeDocks. Looks like they put up a little office on the dock. Weird. They must have done this recently.

| Re: Re: New Tower Weather monitoring stations like that are going up all over the place. Even have them here in Iowa, and I have seen them up and down the Mississippi River going between NW Wisconsin all the way to Lousiana (my home state). The spinny thing on top measures wind speeds, the flat panel thingy measures then UV and strength of sunlight hitting the Earth, the propeller thingy on the arm off the side measures wind direction, the tube doohickey is a rain gauge, the other thingies are I believe transponders to make the tower react in certain ways for testing and measurements and the dish is for sending and recieving data. The blue aerial looking thing i have NO idea what it does.
With the Sun kicking up to a solar max when it shouldn't be, I guess they figure they had BETTER start monitoring closer. Plus, the little cup dodads may be fdor catching chem droppings to measure how much stays up in the air versus what comes down when they try new mixtures. The solar panel thingy can measure how much radiation/sunlight actually gets through the chems versus non-spray days so they can perfect their methods of mass contamination.
And yes, they ARE an eyesore. Jena |

| Re: Re: Re: Re: New Tower You have NO idea!! Weather patterns are all messed up. The oak across the street from me is already having leaves change!!! WTF!???? It is just early August!! The oaks tell tales far before the weather frauds do! Jena |

| Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Tower Down here the pecan trees I have in my yard are dropping "seedling" nuts all over the place. I have never seen them do this this early in the year. I don't think it is just heat stress either. We may have a real tough winter this year. Allen |

| Re: New Tower We've had a really hot summer (Florida) Plenty of rain too, which is good. In the past I've noticed and this just my theory, but seems to be true, is when we have an extra hot summer, we have an extra cold winter. And a mild summer; a mild winter. This hurricane off the coast of NC had me baffled. It developed so quickly so close to land. The NOAA predicts a busy 2004 Atlantic hurricane season.
