Whoopi Goldberg Axed Over Anti-Bush Remarks |

(andPOP) -  When Whoopi Goldberg agreed to speak at John Kerry's Democratic fundraiser last week, she had no idea her remarks would cost her some coin.
Goldberg used President Bush's name as a sexual reference, and was constantly fired by Slim-Fast, where the actress was a spokesperson.
"While I can appreciate what the Slim-Fast people need to do in order to protect their business, I must also do what I need to do as an artist, as a writer and as an American -- not to mention as a comic. It's unfortunate that, in this country, the two cannot mesh," Goldberg said in a statement on Thursday.
The main offices of Slim-Fast, the diet company, are located in Florida. The governor of Florida is Jeb Bush, George W.'s brother. Michael Moore would have some fun with this story.
"We are disappointed by the manner in which Ms. Goldberg chose to express herself and sincerely regret that her recent remarks offended some of our consumers," was the official statement from Slim Fast.

It makes you wonder if Martha Stewart fits in to this whole thing. No sooner had all the talk in the news been about plans to cancel the election than we hear Martha Stewart is sentenced. Suddenly, that's ALL they can talk about. It's like nothing else matters.

Why in the world would anyone pay any attention at all to anything "Whoopsie" Goldberg says? She or really ("it") considers itself a "jew"- that is really happy and special. If it weren't worth mega-$s do you seriously think this sub-human POS would ever be accepted in either D.C. or Jerusalem?

And just in case any of you all hadn't figured this out already- Martha is nothing but a "stalking horse" aka a distraction. She had enough $s to buy off any enemy or flee the country- she didn't, which means that just like Slick Willie's stable, she is playing her part. Tim McVeigh did the same thing in his OKC "bombing trial". This is ALL a farce people, wake up and get used to it.
Does that mean the "good guys (and gals)" have lost? In NO sense. Only you have to think smarter, keep lower, and move a lot faster...

Al, you said it! The first time I remember thinking this was during all the hype over Elian Gonzalez. I still can't think of just what it could have been that we weren't supposed to know about but I remember often saying "I'm so sick of hearing about this fucking kid!!!" Now, it's Martha Stewart.

I have never been able to understand the Martha Stewart fiasco.
You might think I'm wacked, but I like Martha Stewart because she really is a true artisan. I like her for two reasons. One, because she really is talented. Most people on tv today that have home decorating shows are not talented. I can only think of two people that are really the real thing. Martha Stewart and Christopher Lowell. The rest are just in the tv buisness. Two, Martha is an ingenious marketing mastermind. If you ever have seen the documentary on how she built her empire, it will floor you away. I love the idea of a shrewd business woman making it to billionaire status. I love it.
However, Martha is too smart to have let herself be in the trouble she's in. And that's what I don't get. They couldn't prosecute her on the 'inside trading', so they prosecuted her on lying about it. I don't get that either.
Back when Ross Perot was running independant (twice) I had a girlfriend who insisted that Perot was part of the plan and that NO ONE in America becomes a BILLIONaire unless they are 'allowed' to and conforms to NWO 'rules'. She also believed that anyone who becomes excessively wealthy who does not play by the rules or decides later not to play by the 'rules' will be targeted, singled out and bankrupted. When you look back you wonder about people like Donald Trump how he was washed up and then came back, and how Bill Gates was drug through the mud then all of the sudden quiet compliance. Now Martha Stewart. She's so damn fiesty and bossy I can't imagine anyone telling her what to do, so she'll probably end up in a cell.
It certainly is food for thought.

LOL Christy!!!
After seeing the second picture, I can hear her saying "And that's a good thing." If she does that much decorating, she may find herself with some unwanted "girlfriends".
But yeah, I just can't figure out why she is getting this kind of treatment. So many people in the public eye are doing much worse things and getting away with it. Just look at some of these "gangsta" rappers who are known criminals. Not only is nothing done about it but they are looked up to by many young people. We live in a time when lack of ethics and stupidity are rewarded. Those with conscience and sense of values are looked upon as strange. I doubt this all happened by accident.

Yeah, Martha is no doubt a great distraction, and according to AOL search engine percentages, she's #2 after September 11th for search inquiries. But I can't help but think that somehow Martha went against the grain and is not partisipating or playing out the role that was intended for her.

Notice how we're no longer hearing anything about those plans to cancel the election. Wasn't it the number one news item until Martha stole the spotlight? Once this whole thing settles down, we still have Michael Jackson. Hey, look at us. We've spent all this time talking about Martha Stewart. I hope they're not turning us into sheeple.

Hi Everyone. The distraction is just who gets the camera pointed at them in direct proportion to the intensity of the world scene. Lots of people are sick of the political scene because it doesn't make them feel good to see and hear about torture and icky things. Barbara Bush said that Seeing Body Bags Would Ruin Her Beautiful Mind.. But everybody loves a good juicy gossip session...almost everyone. The giant mega media groups openly admit meeting their profit needs is their reason for existence.
"We paid $3 billion for these t.v. stations." said an executive with a Fox affliliate in Tampa. "We decide what the news is. The news is what we tell you it is".
And well, the news is MARTHA at the moment. Whats next? Any wagers? Maybe someone will find the killers of OJ fame or Kobe Bryant will go into heat again. Britney will come out of the closet and her and Michael Jackson will be married on Mars.
I would like to mention one thing I read today about Bush and Putin coming to some agreement about sending Russian troops to Iraq and this could effect Bushes re-selection. I don't know about you but I am waiting to find out how the B Man is going to postpone the fake election so he can continue slashing and burning every living thing.
