Bush plans to screen the public for mental illness
Just when we think we've heard it all, there's more disturbing information.

He needs to start with himself and the rest of the US goobernment. Actually, a large portion of the American people do need their heads examined for putting up with all this nonsense in the first place. Allen

Yikes

"Olanzapine (trade name Zyprexa), one of the atypical antipsychotic drugs recommended as a first line drug in the Texas algorithm, grossed $4.28bn (£2.35bn; {euro}3.56bn) worldwide in 2003 and is Eli Lilly's top selling drug. A 2003 New York Times article by Gardiner Harris reported that 70% of olanzapine sales are paid for by government agencies, such as Medicare and Medicaid.

Eli Lilly, manufacturer of olanzapine, has multiple ties to the Bush administration. George Bush Sr was a member of Lilly's board of directors and Bush Jr appointed Lilly's chief executive officer, Sidney Taurel, to a seat on the Homeland Security Council. Lilly made $1.6m in political contributions in 2000—82% of which went to Bush and the Republican Party. "

Why is pharmaceutical officer given a seat at Homeland Security? Plans to drug the enemy? LOL

Bush plans to screen the public for mental illness
I know I spoke about this once before on the other board, but somewhere in my house I have a book on the chronological dated plans in education for either a 75 or a hundred year span. It's fascinating. I've got to find it. The book was written in the 1940's, starting in the 20's and chronolgically follows a plan of how the educational system is to progress each and every year. I'm telling you, I would have never believed a word of this book unless I saw the printing date. It's mind blowing. They had the introduction of Dick, Jane and Spot...which was my 'beginning to read' books in school. following the date-line perfectly. They had the introduction of ADD, attention deficit disorder and how medicines would be administer by the school nurses. I remember this is where the time-line began to slack a bit. Then there was some introduction to a  memory disorder and lastly, are you ready for this?...By around 1995 was suppose to be the introduction of a brain disorder, that each child would be tested for and proper medicine administered. The book ended around 1999 or 2000. The brain disorder was the book's last goal.

Christy, I think this should be an even more serious concern to you because you have children. It's an insult that we're supposed to believe this plan is "for the good of our youth". Bullshit! It only benefits the already powerful drug companies at the cost of the minds of America's future. The more kids they can get on drugs, the less they have to be concerned by future adults having the minds with the ability to question anything. BTW, how strange that Bush would be behind such a thing. Maybe he should take a look in the mirror.

I am concerned too, believe me. This fall there is going to be alot of changes in our county. First they are going to fingerprint and bio all the bus-riding children. The Choice program will be in effect and chaos will be on top of chaos. I'm hoping for a few lawyer parents to sue the shit out of the county on that fiasco. Also, you may have read this in the news, but we, in Pinellas county are going to be photographed when pulled over by the cops for the new face-recognition system they are piloting. If it proves to be successful, you guys in Hillsbough will most likely be next. sigh.

I thought I read once awhile back that Dan Quale's family was a part of Eli Lilly.  It's all a big happy family, isn't it..   I wonder what determines "mental stability".. if Bush is the standard then I think we are all fine.  Mary

You know that's a really good question. How are they going to determine who is mentally stable and who isn't? And what kinds of tests determine this?

"if Bush is the standard then I think we are all fine"

LOLOL, true, very true.
