 "The Great Collapse"
This is interesting: http://www.safehaven.com/article-1597.htm I am no visionary or prophet and make no claims of anything. Many years gone, I had a "feeling" about the impending collapse and destruction of The Fourth Reich- or the current world corporate state. It would come hard on the close of the 20th century and be the most devastaing event in the current memory of mankind. It would not be the final chapter- that has yet to be written. Allen

 Re: "The Great Collapse"
My little boy came up to me out of the blue the other day and asked "When was World War Three?" It shocked me, so I asked him where he heard that. He said Grandpa (my dad) said War World II was when he was a little boy. He thought World War III was when I was a little girl and was wondering if World War IV was coming soon. Kids are smart but they shouldn't have those kinds of thoughts. He hears of war on the news and wonders like an adult if it will ever happen here in America. Sad. Saddens me to think of all the children who have to live with war in their life on a day to day basis. God it makes me so sad.

Did I ever tell you the story of my Great-Grandpa? Forgive me if I have, but I'll tell the story again.

Before the Great Depression my Great Grandpa Chanlder also had this feeling of an impending collapse with the economy. Times were good, so whenever he warned people that a great collapse was coming, he was mocked and rediculed. He told everyone and anyone...they mocked him to the point they we're calling him a kook. My great grandpa would humbly say, "Mark my word, the economy is going to crash soon and when it does and you find your family in need, I will help you." My great grandpa owned a small farm and began stocking up on cows, goats, rabbits and chickens, worked in the crops from sun up to sun down growing fruits and vegatables while Great Grandma canned. The basement and barn was a stockade of canned food and supplies. They spent every penny they had preparing for the crash. Passersby would laugh at them and shake their heads.

Then the day happened. Black Tuesday, October 29, 1929, the Stock Market crashed, the beginning of the Great Depression. Great Grandpa Chandler was prepared. The banks were closed. Everyone lost their money. No jobs. No food. They remembered that old kook at the farm, and came to him. He sent them home with food and livestock to eat. In trade, he would accept land deeds to their spare properties or portions of land, of which they felt was also worthless. Grandpa Chandler fed nearly the whole township, which today is called Auburn Hills, Michigan. When the depression began easing up and people were back on their feet, great grandpa owned about half of Pontiac, Michigan. Now of course, when my grandpa (his son) inherited it, he sold everything and lived the high-life, but that's another story.

So you see, the world needs visionaries like my great Grand-dad and you.   :-)
