| know your Gasoline!! Take a peek at which major companies import Middle Eastern oil.
Shell.........................205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco.........144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil..............130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway...117,740,000 barrels Amoco......................62,231,000 barrels
If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION!
Now, here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:
Citgo....................0 barrels Sunoco............. . 0 barrels Conoco............. . 0 barrels Sinclair............... 0 barrels BP/Phillips.......... 0 barrels Hess...................0 barrels
All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

| Re: know your Gasoline!! I think the message is clear here. We are the consumers and control what's going on around us. If we locate all the non-eastern oil companies that sell gas in our town/city, then we can literally control the big boys that profit from this rediculous war. I have a Hess right down the street from me and I'm going to start getting my gas there from now on. I'm going to mark out where those other stations are near me too. Matter of fact, I going to write these names down and clip it to my sunvisor.

| Re: Re: know your Gasoline!! If I recall correctly, Shell is owned by the Queen of The Netherlands- the most wealthy woman in the world. I hope she chokes on it in the end.

| Re: know your Gasoline!! LOL. Al read the Chemtrails in the Desert thread. Get this, Shell gas was the only gas company that left Chad, of course due to bad PR. Naturally, they still get their oil from the middle east but atleast they had a shread of decency to leave north Africa unlike Exxon, Mobil and Chevron. I will never buy gas from these companies again. Now that I think about it, I just may tape up a few signs to their gas pumps too!!! | |
