Last night, MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Oberman featured a story on this secret socety and it's two well know members. I have to admit, I've not taken this thing very seriously before because it appeared to be only based on speculation. This is disturbing stuff. Here we have a president who claims to stand for such positive values as faith and family, yet he belongs to something like THIS? WTF? It is a long way from just speculation.
The simple base fact that the Russell Trust (S&B's proper name) was founded with a fortune derived from drug running during the Opium Wars in China in the 19th Century should cause anyone awake to question why anybody with any moral basis would want to become a member of an organiziation with this pedigree to begin with.

REally. You know, Bush and Kerry are younger guys. It's not like their fathers or grandfathers getting into an organization because of the status quo. These guys have heard all the bad press and conspiracies associated with S&B, so why on earth would one want to show a connection to it?

Yikes, Shawn that's an interesting thought.
Did you guys hear Kerry call Bush & Co. crooks? That was pretty wild. He didn't know the mics were on him and you could tell he was really sincere. Radio Bush supporters/cronies Rush, Beck, Coulter etc etc, are not breathing a word of this (which they would normally jump on) because it's actually helping Kerry's race. LOL. funny.
