Brilliant move; McCain just blew Obama and his mama straight out of the water with his choice of a woman as running mate. The Dems rejected Hills (at least so far) and now the Repubs pulled an end run around them and put a woman in the pipeline for President following McCain (who just upped his chances for victory in November by at least 50 % or better).

PS: and yes, I remember the McGovern/Ferraro (the first woman[?] VP pick) ticket which had as much chance then as Obama and his mama/SOB Biden do now.
