They didn't have enough power to pull it off and the US military and the Spooks resisted (about time!) so W and Co were left holding the (empty) bag.
I guess IsraeLIE doesn't get it's holiday wish fulfilled this year- TOUGH NOOGIES...

PS: The Nebraska shopping mall "massacre" in vain attempt to gain power and advantage at a crucial time was a miserable failure as well.
And the "church" incident(s) didn't work any better than the mall one did...
