Bush greeted by thousands of cheering Albanians. What is he doing in Albania of all places you might ask? It is most interesting, remember that the majority of Albanians are Moslem, Albania is also the only Chinese client state in Europe. Why are they cheering him? Remember the Clintooner blasting the daylights out of the Orthodox Christian Serbs back in '99 over Kosovo? Ok, Kosovo has vast mineral wealth, it is also the point where the Ottoman Empire was halted (by the Serbs) in it's expansion into Europe (14th century I think).
The Albanians have for years been infiltrating the province to the point where they are now a majority (just as the Mexicans are doing to the SW USA). The Albanians are renowned as some of the biggest drug smugglers in the world and the opium poppy crop in Afghanistan needs a conduit into Europe for the heroin trade. Shazzam! Bushco has made a deal with the UN to hand over control of the area to the Albanians-remember we still have US "peacekeeping" troops stationed in the Balkans that Bush promised to bring home after he was (s)elected the first time- and he later reneged on his promise. Now he needs those troops elsewhere, so a deal has been cut (mostly to Bushco's advantage): The Albanians get Kosovo, the heroin trade steps up (more funding for S&B and various "black" projects), Bush gets the boots on the ground he needs elsewhere and the Serbs get BLEEPED. Lovely, isn't it?
