| Hiya, Is it possible to have the forum as private, so basically it is invite only because we are moving to here from another site and dont want certain users following. Thanks, Matt

| Hi!
You can do this with permissions. Create a usergroup and grant all permissions of the forum you want to be private to this usergroup. This way, registered users will not be able to do anything unless you add them to this usergroup.

| Thanks for the prompt reply, So there is no actually way to suspend registration? Ideally we would like it so the only way to become registered is if we invite users to do so. Matt

| No, we do not have anything like invitation. If this is just about keeping some people away from your forum, the usergroup thing will work. People will be able to register but they will not be able to read / post anything, which is practically the same as not beeing registered

| Yeah, if you could also throw in an option to disable registration normally, it would be perfect. Thankyou, and we are prepared to wait for the feature, hopefully not too long though Matt
