Hi, Boardboss!

Our forum is having emoticon problems.  Here's how this problem has evolved:

1.  For years, we have been able to click on the "Use Emoticons" link; then click on the emoticon we wanted, and it would show up in our posts.

2.  A while back (a couple of months maybe?) things changed.  When we clicked on the emoticons, they would show up in our post until we clicked "Add Reply" and then all we'd get would be the little box with an "x" in it.

3.  We started typing in the language for the emoticons, i.e.  a colon and the appropriate word.  This worked well, and the emoticons showed up just fine in our posts.

4.  Now, when we type in the language, we get the box with the "x" in it again.  If we click on "convert emoticons", the smiley will show up though.

My question:  Is there some way to get the emoticons back to the way they worked when we first started?  (We clicked on them, and they showed up in the posts.)

Thank you for your help!

Thank you very much!  They seem to be working just fine now.  I really appreciate your help.
