Some time back I had to set my forum to private, that only reg members could post due to a massive smapping. Now it seems things have calmed down and I would like to reset it so also guests can post again.
But I can't remeber how to do it.

Since my forum has been subject to a massive attemp to being hacked UNSUCCESSFULLY!!!! I won't post the url here, but I am very grateful for any input.

Hi!

Go to the forum management. On the right you will find the link to the permissions screen for each of your forum (the button looks like a pair of keys).

To allow posting for guests, add the guests group to 'posting' and 'create topics'. If you cant make it, just send me an email or a pm.

It might be a good idea to activate your real person check for guests (general settings) if you allow guest postings, otherwise you will sooner or later get a massive amount of advertising spam on your forum.
