The boards/forum have gone upps and downs pretty much. Even the last days. Any solutions on the way?

And a question about Login/PW. Many other boards/forum have the possible to cklick "remember me" so you are inlogged every time you came back. Now we have to logon every once in a while. Is't something you have thought about??

Hi Njord!

We were forced to change servers twice in october, what caused lots of troubles. The server seems to be ok now, I do not expect lots of downtimes from now on as everything seems to run pretty smooth. We also lost lots of boards because of this downtimes, so you can expect a fast board cause we do not have lots of traffic currently

Latest downtimes were caused by DNS troubles, some DNS-Servers seem to have forgotten our domain name hondos.org......this was, as far as I am concerned, not caused by us/our server, thats more likely a global internet problem, probably caused by hacking of some of the internet root-servers.

About the login: Our board remembers you by default, you can not deactivate this feature currently. This is done with cookies. When you log in from a different PC, the cookies on other PCs get invalid, that might be the reason why you have to login again. Thats like a security feature.

Oh, and when you place a 'seperator' (category) at the top of your forum, it will look way better

It wasn't just you, some could find hondos.org, some not. I had troubles reaching hondos.org myself the last days. Changing DNS-Servers in my internet options helped.

I can't leave this question yet, because the problem stil is the same.

But it seems strange. Some days I can't get in to my forum for many hours, but some of my visitors can!! And other days it's vice versa. Strange, is't it?? If it was the same isp I could have suspicted a chatch problem. But there is several differents ISP. Any ideas???

Not really. Does this just affect hondos.org or are you unable to reach other sites aswell? You can try to use a different DNS-Server (ask your friends that can get to hondos.org which one they are using).
